The why knot

We are Certainly coming back. My family and myself came in for dinner last night and we are so glad we did. The food was delicious we all really enjoyed it. Our waitress Jenny was lovely and helpful and the bar man Callan who bought us our drinks was very Would definitely recommend and dine again. Started with mushrooms on toast followed by medium rare fillet steak and the stuffed chicken meal. Desserts were strawberry roly poly pudding and Chris had the sorbet.

Both meals were cooked really well by Nic and Lilly and the staff looked after us very well Ended with our daughter having put some money behind the bar for us to have a drink on her. A great dining experience. Popped in for lunch and had great food, good friendly service and a very pleasant eating environment.

Varied menu. The braised beef is superb. Higher end restaurant quality at 'Pub Grub' prices. We had such a lovely meal at the why not! From the moment we walked in, the staff were lovely and very welcoming, especially our lovely waitress.

The food was so so good! We will definitely be back very soon! Service excellent. Very good meals served to 7 of us out for a birthday lunch. The halloumi is the best I've set tasted! But the "raspberry creme brulee" was woeful.

The cream had been allowed to curdle so instead of the usual silky confection expected, Also the raspberry suggested in the name was actually one single raspberry placed on top as decoration. Didn't want to make a fuss on a special occasion but it was not at all nice. The atmosphere was buzzing and the service by all staff exceptional, the food was fantastic also.
